Eight new apartment buildings, composing a total of 89 residential units of various dimensions and configurations (studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments), will be realised along avenue Voltaire and rue Général Eenens, not far from the railway bridge. The new facades at avenue Voltaire blend with the style of the quarter, but give each building its own personality and authenticity. Between the street and the facades, small gardens give access to the residential buildings and to the future metro station. The new building at the rue Général Eenens, higher than the surrounding built environment, will stand out as an urban landmark.
