The site, bounded by rue des Marchandises, rue des Deux Gares and rue Dr. Kuborn in Anderlecht, is located close to Gare du Midi, near one of the main arterial routes into Brussels. The project was selected in the call for projects launched by citydev.brussels for a mixed development on this block. In our study, we aimed to produce a clear, legible interpretation in terms of city life, habitability and sustainability. The project includes passive homes, a ground floor of retail space, public services and shared and private green open space.
