Woluwe Valley : renovation / reconversion
Located on Avenue Marcel Thiry in Wolume-Saint-Lambert, the Woluwe Valley project proposes the renovation and reconversion of an old office building from the 1980s into a residential building; the commercial surfaces on the first floor are maintained. Beyond the architectural and technical reflection on the layout of the apartments, involving the adaptation and addition of new cores, the facades are also entirely recomposed in order to offer a new strong and dynamic residential identity to the building, notably by the addition of balconies.
The construction site began in January 2021.
This renovation / reconversion project reflects our philosophy and our way of responding to the challenge of Brussels Circular: "We are convinced that the evolution of cities requires the reconversion of existing buildings. This allows us to offer diversified housing options, as well as new mixed-use programs. Through light renovations - such as the Pléiades 71 (Be.Circular winner) - or heavy renovations - such as Woluwe Valley - we actively participate in the regeneration of cities." - DDS+Project 2021.
