Bridging past and present in an inspiring way, Novia transforms a previously unoccupied space into a thriving urban environment where people can live, work, and enjoy their daily lives.
Unlike traditional city blocks, this new part of Namur will be set in a large green area and will blend a diverse set of functions to create a vibrant and interconnected community.
One of the project’s most remarkable features is the preservation of the guardhouse from the former barracks, an architectural gem that serves as a reminder of the neighborhood's past. Transformed into an entrance porch for the library and museum, this heritage structure not only pays homage to the district's history but also invites visitors to explore the cultural heart of Novia.
