Sliding into De Theux street and blending in, Beside embraces the identity of its neighborhood like a chameleon.

Located between Ixelles and Etterbeek, De Theux street is characterized by a plot-based architecture with highly graphical facades, particularly in their brickwork. Drawing inspiration from its surroundings, the project reinterprets the distinctive elements of neighboring facades, seamlessly integrating into the existing built environment through a progressive volumetric approach and a façade featuring light beige and glazed green bricks.

Giving birth to a new residential ensemble within the neighborhood, Beside encompasses 32 housing units ranging from studios to 4-bedroom apartments, all organized around three separate circulation cores. While the original site was fully paved, half of its surface area will now be transformed into verdant green spaces, including a substantial 60% of open ground. This thoughtful integration of nature provides Beside's future residents with an idyllic oasis amidst a highly dense urban area.
