Weaving a new urban fabric in three phases
Organized in three distinct construction phases, the Îlot Saint Roch project is situated in the continuation of the city center of Nivelles.
The first phase, concerning the northern part of the site, is slowly coming to an end and the preparatory work for the second phase (decontamination and earthworks of the southern part) is getting started. With the construction of 171 housing units planned, this second phase will be followed by a third and final step involving the construction of a building for the City of Nivelles. A major project located in the direct vicinity of the city center, the phasing of the construction works reduces generated nuisances for local residents as well as the surrounding neighborhood.
Built on an industrial site adjacent to the historic center and to the RAVeL, the project encompasses 291 residential units and offers different ways of living within the same block. Along the RAVeL, along the Avenue or around the plazas, several typologies and sizes of housing are proposed in order to satisfy multiple family models and encourage diversity in the heart of the city.
