A sustainable attitude
DDS+ considers sustainable building as an architectural quality. It is a common thread throughout the design process that takes into account the social, ecological and urbanistic aspects of each project. Awareness, training and appropriation of the principles of sustainable design are therefore central to the thinking process of DDS+.
Our R&D department regularly shares its knowledge with the whole team through both formal and spontaneous internal communication: posters, newsletters, - temporarily digital - brainstorming sessions and 'Midis de l'Archi', meetings led by external or internal speakers, around a specialised theme related to the profession of today's architect.
The R&D department has also developed a series of tools which help the architecture teams to make well-founded decisions adapted to each project and intervenes by challenging the architects at key moments in the design process.
