Building with bio-ecological materials - Bâti C²
The use of local bio-ecological materials in the construction sector constitutes one of our research axes.
In this context, the 28th of June DDS+ participated at an eco-materials ‘discovery day’, organized by the Interreg Bâti C² project. Bâti C² is a collaboration between Flemish, Walloon and French partners, which aims to promote biosources construction and the use of materials locally sourced.
This day allowed us to go into the possibilities of using hennep as a construction material, by visiting Flemish and French projects in the border region and during discussions with actors and designers from the sector who already worked with this material.
